Overview
Welcome to Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Detroit. You can look forward to dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, signature cocktails, and lively music, all designed to let you unwind and uncork. Located in bustling downtown Detroit, inside the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel, this one-of-a-kind steakhouse transports you to another place and time. Truly at the heart of town, Sullivan’s Detroit sits just blocks from the Detroit River (also known as the U.S./Canada border) and steps from the Times Square and Michigan monorail stations. Bustling with shopping and beautiful parks, the Downtown neighborhood makes for the ultimate home base on any day or night out in Detroit. Venture west, and you’ll find North Corktown, the city’s oldest neighborhood (established in 1834), or step south to soak in international riverfront views. To the north, you’ll find the hip art and theater scene of the bohemian, walkable Midtown, and to the east, you’ll stumble into Eastern Market, the largest open-air farmer’s market in the country (open every Saturday). The Westin Book Cadillac’s historic skyscraper, home to Sullivan’s, sits right at the center of it all. Sullivan’s elevated steakhouse menu pulses inspiration from a variety of global cuisines, truly offering something for everyone. Start your evening with a plate of filet mignon-stuffed cheesesteak egg rolls or a half-dozen oysters on the half-shell. Enjoy our fresh market greens, drizzled with a shallot-dijon vinaigrette, or sip our classic French onion soup. Then, it’s time for the main event: enjoy a bone-in or house cut of our cut-above steaks, from a Wagyu Tomahawk rib-eye to our prime New York strip, or opt for an herb brick chicken or crab-stuffed shrimp instead. End the night with a decadent dessert, like our Oreo-dusted peanut butter pie. Then, nightcap the meal with a craft cocktail, like the Gold Rush, a dazzling concoction of Angel’s Envy Bourbon, freshly squeezed lemon, and clover honey—all topped with an amber swizzle stick for a touch of old-school candy shop charm. While our mouthwatering dishes are sure to make your list of favorites, what truly sets Sullivan’s apart is our lively, welcoming atmosphere. When you walk through our doors, you’ll be met with a personal greeting and the sounds of local live music wafting through the air. It’s a bar-centric, friendly neighborhood environment that’s at once high-energy and steeped in soothing luxury. Our attentive staff is always prepared with personalized recommendations, and no matter the occasion, there’s always a familiar face ready to welcome you back.
